The body is CNC machines from 6061 Aircraft Aluminum. All stainless steel interior ( Bearing Support, Ball Bearing, Internal Spring. The large outside nut and star lock washer are also Stainless Steel. The stud assembly (4"-20 Threaded Stud, Nuts, Washers, Latch Lift Spring) is all stainless steel also. This latch assembly has dyno-tested well over 400 Lbs each.
This latch will give you many many years of good service.
