This "Pro Series" Gloss Black Powder Coated latch has the best of the best parts we could combine. The body is CNC machined from 6061 Aircraft Aluminum. All stainless steel interior( Bearing Support, Ball Bearing, Internal Spring. The large outside nut and star lock washer are also Stainless Steel. The stud assembly (1/4"-20 x 2" Stud, Nuts, Washers, Latch Lift Spring) is all stainless steel also. This latch assembly has dyno-tested well over

400 Lbs each.
