The Body is CNC machined from a Billet of 6061 Aircraft Aluminum.
The Internal working of these latches ( Bearing Support, Ball Bearings, Spring) is all 316 Stainless Steel. This gives them long life and less wear as well as greater strength. The mounting hardware is all 316 stainless steel as well. (1/4"-20 X 2" Stud, Spring, Nuts, Washers)
Pro Series Latches are rated at 400 Lbs each
Our "Pro Series Dzus" Latches will directly replace your old-style latch. Our U-Shaped Bracket will pop rivet into your existing (1.375") Bracket and will replace the Dzus spring. The threaded stud will allow you to adjust the latch up and down eliminating the need to order just the right height Dzus.

Our Hood Latches are all Sold in Pairs. Our 2.5" Latch set will directly replace the old Pin style and will cover the 4 holes left when removing the old base plates.
They come with 4" 316 Stainless Steel Studs 3/8-24 Thread, Washers, Nuts
Lift Spring Kit.
These Hood Latches are rated for 600 Lbs each.
